ABOUT YVARBRIMS
Isabelle Nyroth, the founder of Yvarbrims, is based outside of Stockholm, Sweden, and brings a unique, global perspective to the world of drones. Growing up in Sweden, Texas, and Austria, Isabelle was immersed in a family deeply connected to model aircraft and early drone technology, sparking a lifelong passion for unmanned systems.
Yvarbrims officially launched in September 2022. The name pays homage to Isabelle's roots on the Swedish island of Gotland. "Yvarbrims" is a word from Gutnish, the island’s endangered dialect, meaning " the buzz from above."
Not sure how to pronounce Yvarbrims? It’s closest to "oo-var-brims," but no one will fault you for skipping the nuances of a language with only 1,500 speakers left.
Since 2014, Isabelle has collaborated with dozens of drone companies around the world, specializing in training, flying, testing, managing, and coordinating UAS operations. Her extensive experience includes leading multirotor, VTOL, and fixed-wing missions, including BVLOS operations across diverse international regions. She has trained and operated in countless countries, adapting to varied cultures and challenges along the way.
In addition to beheading Yvarbrims, Isabelle is a lecturer for the course UAS operators in Specific Category at YH Akademin in Sweden, a member of the advisory board to Synclair Vision, and on the board of Liaisons for the Advanced Air Mobility Institute representing Sweden. She is an active and dedicated contributor to the global drone community and thrives on connecting people with ideas and solutions.
Yvarbrims is built on a foundation of integrity, knowledge, and practical experience. By understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions, Isabelle ensures organizations are equipped to succeed in the dynamic drone industry.
The drone industry is a symphony of diverse elements that must work together seamlessly. Yvarbrims is here to provide the tools and expertise to help you thrive.
